In a meeting of the two Division Leaders in the WHL Western Division, the Kamloops Blazers were able to emerge with a 3 to 2 home victory over the Tri City Americans.  With the win, the Blazers join the Americans as the only two teams with at least 60 points. 

This loss snaps the record winning streak by the Americans at 13.

The Americans travel to Vancouver for a game tomorrow night.  They also face Spokane Saturday night.
