SPOKANE - Spokane Shock offensive coordinator Matt Sauk has accepted the same position with the Utah Blaze, a Shock spokesperson told KXLY Wednesday.
The move allows Sauk to live fulltime with his wife and kids in Utah. He'll also receive a raise for joining the Blaze's staff.
Under Sauk, Spokane's offense averaged 61.4 points per game during the regular season, which ranked third in the Arena Football League.
Kyle Rowley benefitted greatly from working with Sauk. In 19 games, including the playoffs, Rowley threw for 123 touchdowns with only eleven interceptions.
