SPOKANE -- The U-high softball team kept their season alive, and Post Falls wins their first ever softball state title.
The Trojans beat Rocky Mountain 12-2 in the 5A state title game in Boise. U-high bounced back from their opening round loss at regionals to beat Wenatchee 7-1 on Saturday to guarantee the Titans a trip to state. Plus North Central 7-0 losers to West Valley Yakima in the 3A regional title game.
Boys soccer, Ferris advances to the state semis with a 1-0 win in sudden death overtime against Pasco, and Cheney is heading to the 2A state semifinals with a 2-0 win over Interlake, while Pullman saw their season end with a 3-2 loss at home to Toppenish.
