SPOKANE -- Home field advantage didn't mean much for the 4A GSL teams in the opening round of the state tournament on Saturday at Avista.
GSL Top seed Central Valley was blasted 12-1 by Eastmont in the opening game. Then Lewis & Clark took a 2-1 lead over Richland into the bottom of the fifth before the Bombers scored nine runs on the way to the 10-3 win.
At Shadle Park, Colfax advanced to the 2B state semifinals with wins over Soap Lake and Asotin. KXLY4's Ben Kaplan has the highlights.
