TACOMA, Wash. (AP) -- Riley Carel had 16 points and 13 rebounds, and undefeated Enumclaw cruised past Shadle Park 46-34 in the semifinals of the Class 3A boys state tournament on Friday night. Enumclaw will play Union in the championship game on Saturday. The Hornets held Shadle Park scoreless in the first quarter, jumping out to a 13-0 lead over the Highlanders. It was the first time since 2007 a team had been held scoreless in a quarter. Robby Douglas and Taylor Pettersen led Shadle Park on a 10-2 run to end the third quarter to pull within seven at 33-26. Taylor Myers and the Hornets then put the game away opening the fourth quarter on a 7-0 run of their own to advance to the championship game for the first time in school history.
