Spokane - The Spokane Shock significantly beefed up their offensive line Friday, adding Ed Ta'amu and Casey Bulyca to their 2010 roster.
Ta'Amu was a member of the Shock's 2006 ArenaCup Championship team. He later spent two seasons with the AFL's Kansas City Brigade.
Bulyca spent five weeks on the Shock’s practice squad at the end of the 2009 season. Prior to joining the Shock, he started in 16 games for the University of Washington.
“Games are won and lost up front on the line,” Head Coach Rob Keefe explained. “Casey turned our heads last year and we are looking forward to seeing him compete for a starting spot this year.”
The Shock will start training camp on Monday. The 2010 season will kick off on April 2nd, when the Shock host the Milwaukee Iron.
