SPOKANE -- Gonzaga freshman forward Manny Arop underwent successful surgery on Thursday to repair his broken left foot, according to the University's training staff.
Arop suffered the injury in the Bulldogs semifinal win in the West Coast Conference Tournament over Loyola Marymount last Sunday.
Arop will be sidelined for about eight weeks before he can begin rehabilitating his foot. Arop as come of the bench in all 31 of the Bulldogs games prior to the injury, averaging 3.5 ppg, and 3.8 rpg in just under 12 minutes/game.
