SPOKANE - Despite not hearing his name called in the NBA Draft, former Gonzaga star Matt Bouldin will still get his shot in the NBA with the Chicago Bulls.
According to Bouldin's Twitter account and one local report, the West Coast Conference player of the year will sign a free agent contract with the Bulls.
Chicago traded point guard Kirk Hinrich to the Washington Wizards in a draft day trade. Other guards on their current roster are Derrick Rose, Ronald "Flip" Murray, Acie Law, Devin Brown and Jannero Pargo, the older brother for former Zag Jeremy Pargo.
Bouldin averaged roughly 16 points, five rebounds and four assists, in leading Gonzaga into the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
