Bouldin Works Out for Milwaukee Bucks

MILWAUKEE, WI - Former Gonzaga University standout Matt Bouldin was one of six players to attend a workout for the Milwaukee Bucks at their practice facility Wednesday as the June 24 NBA Draft draws near.

Joining Bouldin were Wayne Chism, University of Tennessee; Keith "Tiny" Gallon, University of Oklahoma; Gani Lawal, Georgia Tech University; Jon Scheyer, Duke University, and Deon Thompson, University of North Carolina.

With the exception of Lawal, Bouldin played against each of the other four attendees during his collegiate career.

Bill McKinney, Director of Scouting for the Bucks, said it was one of the best workouts the team has had this year.

"First of all, I have to say that this was probably one of the best workouts we've had this year. Every time we bring players in we have a breakfast meeting and it was a really delightful group of young
men to talk to. Then on the court today, the talents were evenly matched and the competitive spirit was really great. We felt like we learned a lot more about some of the players that we watched during the course of their career and have talked to at the Chicago pre-draft camp and even in Minnesota."

Bouldin, attending his third workout after stops in Minnesota with the Timberwolves and Washington with the Wizards, was pleased.

"It went well. It was a good group of guys. We competed really hard. A lot of them knew how to play basketball, which was a perk. It was a good workout," said the native of Highlands Ranch, Colo., who was a senior this past season in leading the Bulldogs to a 12th straight NCAA Tournament appearance.

Bouldin said he still has plenty to work on in preparation for the draft.
