Shock Add Brown, Release Saintil

SPOKANE - The Spokane Shock announced Tuesday that wide receiver Justin Brown has been added to the 2010 roster, while wide receiver Cleannord Saintil has been released.

Brown finished his collegiate career in 2008 at Hampton University. In his two seasons as a Pirate, Brown collected 86 receptions for 1,370 yards and 11 touchdowns. His senior season, Brown was named  1st team All-MEAC.

Prior to transferring to Hampton, Brown attended Lackawanna Junior College where he led the team in receptions (20), with five touchdowns, and averaged 26 yards per reception.

Brown, who has had private workouts with several NFL teams in recent weeks, registered a 4.49 in the 40-yard dash on his pro day.

“Brown is physically gifted with great size and speed,” Head Coach Rob Keefe said. “His numbers in college combined with his size and speed caught the attention of a lot of NFL teams, and
I know that he will be a great asset to our team.”

This will be Brown’s rookie season in Arena Football.
