Shock Add LeFlore, Release Signfield

SPOKANE - The Spokane Shock announced Friday that defensive back Chris LeFlore has been added to the 2010 roster, while defensive back Dahnel Signfield has been released.

LeFlore started his collegiate career at Nebraska, before transferring to Northwest Missouri State, where he finished in 2008. In 43 games as a Bearcat, LeFlore collected six interceptions with 119 total tackles in 43 games.

In 2006, when LeFlore first arrived at Northwest Missouri State, he quickly moved up the depth chart and made an immediate impact. That season, LeFlore played in all but one game and registered two interceptions and a career-high seven tackles in the Divison II national championship game.

“When you look at his film, Chris is a very physical player who comes from a school with a winning tradition,” Head Coach Rob Keefe said. “In college, he played a lot of one-on-one coverage. With our teaching, and his college experience he will be in a good position to make this football team.”

This will be LeFlore’s first season in Arena football.

“I’ve been under the radar for most of my career,” LeFlore explained. “But now I have an opportunity to get back on the field and show what I have to offer. This was the perfect opportunity for me.”
