SPOKANE - The Gonzaga University Women's basketball team is ranked 22nd in the nation in the Associated Press poll, the highest ranking in school history.

The Bulldogs moved up two spots this week after cruising to a 70-58 win at Portland on Saturday.  The Bulldogs are now 19-4 on the season including an 8-0 mark in WCC play.

Gonzaga has a tough two-game road trip ahead of itself this week. The
Zags play at Saint Mary's College on Thursday and the University of San
Diego on Saturday. The Gaels are currently in second place in the WCC,
one game behind the Bulldogs with an 8-1 mark. The Toreros are in third
place with a 6-3 league record. GU's contest at SMC is set for 7 p.m.
