YAKIMA - Raoul Torrez hit a two-run single in a four-run inning and finished with three runs batted in, as the Yakima Bears beat the Spokane Indians 6-4 Wednesday at Yakima County Stadium.
With the win, Yakima (18-9) stretches its lead to four games over Spokane (14-13) in the East Division standings with eleven games remaining in the second half of the Northwest League season.
Corey Davisson earned the win for the Bears with two innings of scoreless relief.
Indians starter Juan Grullon took the loss, giving up five runs, four earned, in four innings pitched.
Spokane and Yakima will continue their three-game series Thursday at 7:05pm.
