SPOKANE - Midwest City, Oklahoma broke open a close ballgame with a four-run seventh inning to eliminate Las Vegas, Nevada 7-1 Monday at the American Legion World Series.
The Outlaws finished with 13 hits, none bigger than Caleb Price's three-run home run in the seventh.
Midwest City will face Eden Prairie, Minnesota on Tuesday. Eden Prairie eliminated Roseburg, Oregon, the Northwest Regional Champion, 6-2.
Grant Soderberg earned the victory, allowing just the two runs in eight and two-thirds innings.
Eden Prairie is a perfect 4-0 in the tournament, which means Midwest City will have to beat them twice to claim the World Series title.
Play begins at 4:00pm Tuesday at Avista Stadium.
