Fall football camp will start for the Washington State Cougars on Sunday morning without Cory Mackay.
The would be sophomore, who was being counted on to start at defensive end for the Cougars this season, was left paralyzed after a car accident in May, while driving home to Redmond, following final exams.
Bud Withers, the outstanding writer for The Seattle Times, has this great story on Mackay, as he works to someday walk again. Football, at least for now, is still a long, long ways off.
